IT'S CONFIRMED!  We will show Screenagers on Monday evening, October 16th at 7pm in the Woodcliff Middle School Media Center.  Enter through the media center doors on the side.  See you there!

Just as important as it is for parents to feel empowered and learn how they can create a balance with technology with their families, kids can also learn the effects of excessive screen time and ideas on how they can manage it for themselves as well.

While parents will be able to learn through our October 11th guest speaker Tom Kersting, our 5th through 8th grade students will watch the film SCREENAGERS in school.  In addition to the insights from psychologists, authors, and scientists, there are real-life stories told by both parents and kids, making for a format that is more easily digestible for our pre-teen and teen-aged kids.

Understanding that parents may wish to watch the film their kids are watching and engage in a dialogue with their families, there are three opportunities to view it:

Thursday, Oct. 12 at 8:45 a.m:  Assembly for Grades 6-8.   WCMS Gym.
Tuesday, Oct. 17 at 8:30 a.m.*:  Assembly for Grade 5.   Dorchester Cafeteria.
Monday, Oct. 16 at 7:00 p.m.:  Evening screening.  WCMS Media Center.

*Please note change in Grade 5 screening start time, which is now 8:30 a.m., not the original 9:00 a.m. indicated on the flyer sent home.

The viewing of Screenagers is a private event,
and is only for students and parents of the Woodcliff Lake district.
